After months of struggling with the death of my only child and fighting a battle that was not mine, I cried out to God:
“Please, I'm weak; I'm tried; I'm broke down; I'm confused and cannot handle this anymore. Please, Father, help me! Whatever is Your will, let it be done. I trust You. I give all that I have and all that I am to You.”
As I uttered this cry, I released my grip and I felt the presence of God fill my soul. As He filled my emptiness and dried my tears, these prayers began flowing out of me.
Finally, I had surrendered it all.
And it was out of this surrender that My Daily Prayers was written. It is my sincerest hope that the words on the pages of My Daily Prayers provide you with comfort and guidance in your time of need.
